     Welcome to the our website!

The Guernsey Gospel Jubilee Association began when our president, Quincy Edwards, wanted to help his daughter, Denise Brown, organize a sing to bring together some of the groups and soloists she performed with when she was traveling as a gospel singer. 

God has since blessed this ministry, and we are now in our 22nd year of serving Jesus through song. We have worked hard to bring quality southern gospel music to Cambridge, and we have been wonderfully blessed.  Groups and soloist travel from all over the country to be part of our sings.  Word of our events has spread throughout the gospel music world, and the result is access to more great gospel music than we could present at our usual gospel sings in May and September.  Because of this, we have added a major Bluegrass Gospel sing that we present in the month of June. 

You'll learn about one of the best kept secrets in Southeastern Ohio. We are one of the Largest Gospel Sings in the state of Ohio. With our four Major Gospel Events throughout the year and several other Gospel Event Sings there are plenty of opportunities to hear some of the finest gospel music.

Our purpose is to promote and encourage the public to accept and follow Christian principals. We are a nondenominational and nonprofit organization. There are no admission charges; however, we do collect love offerings to help with our operating expenses. The main objective of the establishment of the Gospel Sings is to provide you, the listener, with words of hope, inspiration and encouragement through gospel music, and to proclaim Jesus as the Christ and Lord worthy of our praise and Adoration, We also pray that lost souls will come into the light of salvation, and will allow the Lord to be closer.

There is always room for more gospel sings. The inspiration and good news of our Lord Jesus Christ will be exalted. We encourage all to participate.

We would like to mention the fact that during all the years and seasons of these sings, our scheduled singers and groups have not been paid to appear. They confirm their scheduling each season and hope that gospel lovers will support their ministries. Tape sales and table items for sale are their income to meet expenses. We ask that you support them financially and with your much coveted prayers.

 Our May (Spring) Sing, our June Bluegrass Sing, and our two-weekend September (Fall) Sings will be held at Spring Valley Campground.  Please go to their web site at www.campspringvalley.com for directions.
